Bette Brenda is a somewhat smaller fly than the regular Brenda coastal fly that has caught a myriad of sea trout through the ages.
Bette Brenda is tied on a small hook with large hooks for the cloud sea trout that will not take larger prey, but which go and pick the food very carefully.
Often bette brenda works best on the days when you see the fish in the surface, but they do not respond to your regular coastal flies. These very days, a Bette Brenda will save other flies and be totally sovereign.
Whether it is in autumn or in spring when there are fresh seaweed fleas in the water, this fly is super important to have in its range.
The small ball head ensures that the fly can bounce quickly againnem the water, like small fleeing seaweed fleas that will hide from the eating sea trout.
